ZERO/ MINIMUM DISCHARGE PLANT
A Zero liquid discharge (ZLD) facility, is an industrial plant without discharge of wastewaters that is beneficial to industry and environment. Because it saves money and theoretically there is no effluent or discharge. Target ZLD is normally reached by - Waste water treatment, Separation by evaporation or boiling of water or by membrane filtration, moving bed bio reactor (MBBR) or combination of any of these system/technology. ZLD plants produce solid waste. Now it is high time to think about ZLD plant.
